Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp butter, divided use
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1-2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 cups chocolate wafers or chocolate graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup canned sweetened condensed milk
- 3 tbsp seedless raspberry jam
- 1 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Foil line an 8×8×2 inch baking pan; set aside.

Melt 1/2 cup (1 stick) of the butter. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar and chocolate wafer crumbs with a wooden spoon until well blended. With a large square of wax paper, press mixture into bottom of prepared pan; chill about 20 mins or until firm.

In a medium saucepan, combine the condensed milk, jam and remaining tablespoon of butter. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is melted and smooth, about 2-3 mins. Stir in chocolate chips; cook and stir until melted and smooth. Pour mixture over prepared crust. Cover and chill 2 hours until set. Cut into 24 bars and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store in covered containers between layers of wax paper.
