Broiled Round-up Steak with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- Marinade
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or sherry
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- Steak Sauce
- 1 lb 1-in thick - beef top sirloin steak
- whole mushrooms (canned - drained)
- 1/2 cup diagonally cut green onions 1in pcs

combine marinade ingredients-mix well

score steak in diamond pattern, 1/8 in deep

place in bag.

pour marinade over steak and seal bag

turn and refrigerate for 4 hours, turning occasionally

drain steak, reserve marinade.

place steak, scored side up on broiler pan.

broil 4-6 in from heat for 13-17 min

in saucepan, bring reserved marinade to boil. Add mushrooms and oinions, cook and stir 1-2 min or until thoroughly heated. Place steak on platter, spoon mushrooms soauce over steak.
