Ingredients
- salt and pepper
- 3/4 lb penne
- 1/3 lb green beans 1 inch pieces
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 small yellow onion minced
- 1 stalk celery thinly sliced
- 2 carrots diced medium
- 1/4 c flour
- 2 c chicken broth
- 2 c diced cooked chicken
Directions

In large pot of boiling salted water cook pasta 3 min less than package.

Add green beans cook 3 min then drain.

In large saucepan melt butter over med high.

Add onion celery and carrots and cook until onion is translucent about 4 min.

Add flour and cook stirring 1 min.

Gradually add broth stir constantly, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 min.

Stir in chicken season with salt and pepper.

Stir pasta into chicken mixture.
