Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup butter
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Directions

eheat oven to 350.

Chop unsweetened chocolate, combine with ¼ cup butter and melt together over low heat. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat eggs until light.

Mix in 1 cup sugar, salt, vanilla, and ½ tsp cinnamon.

Stir in chocolate mixture and add flour.

Coat 8″ square pan with non-stick spray and pour in batter.

Bake 15 minutes.

While baking, bring ½ cup butter and brown sugar to a boil in a small saucepan constantly stirring – boil for one minute

Add cinnamon.

Remove the pan from the oven and pour caramel over the brownies, completely covering.

Return the pan to the oven for 10-15 more minutes, until the caramel is bubbling thoroughly.

Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Let the chips melt and spread the chocolate over the caramel.

Add additional chocolate chips and allow to cool completely.
