Ingredients
- 4 large beefsteak tomatoes
- 4 huge cloves garlic, peeled
- 6 large basil leaves, slivered
- 6 grindings of fresh black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup fruity, extra version olive oil
- 1 lb pasta
- Parmesan
Directions

Chop tomatoes coarsely, about 1/2 inch. Place tomatoes and juices in a bowl.

Garlic: Either smash with knife and remove from sauce before serving or mince two cloves and smash two). Add all garlic, half of basil and pepper and salt to chopped tomatoes. Stir in the oil. Cover and let sit at room temp for 8-10 hours.

Serve with pasta, top with slivered basil and parmesan.
