Chocolate Mint Biscuits

Surprise peppermint ‘chips’ when you bite into these biscuits.
Easiest way to crush mints is by putting them into heavy duty plastic bag, and smash them with a rolling pin!

Ingredients
- 1/2 C Oddfellow peppermints, crushed
- 150g butter, softened
- 3/4 C caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 C self raising flour
- 1/4 C cocoa
- 1/2 C chocolate bits
Directions

Cream butter & sugar, add egg & beat until fluffy.

Stir in sifted flour & cocoa, then choc bits and crushed mints.

Mix well.

Shape into walnut sized balls, place on paper lined tray & flatten slightly.

Bake at 180oC approx 10-15 minutes.
