Pumpkin Cookies

“light and puffy”
frost with browned butter frosting recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c shortening
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c pumpkin
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 1 t soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/2- 1 c nuts, chopped
- 1/2 c dates(optional)
Directions

Mix ingredients together and drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 for 8-10 min.

When cool frost with browned butter frosting.
