Apple-Glazed Pork Roast

For added sweetness, you may add pineapple chunks or pineapple juice.

Ingredients

  • 3-5 lb. pork roast
  • Garlic salt, to taste
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups applesauce
  • 2 oranges
  • Red potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 bag baby carrots
  • 2 red cooking apples
  • Rosemary

Directions

  1. Place pork roast in crock pot.

  2. Sprinkle with garlic salt, salt and pepper.

  3. Spoon applesauce over roast.

  4. Squeeze juice of one orange over roast.

  5. Slice second orange and place slices over roast.

  6. Cut potatoes into large chunks and slice onion; put in crock pot.

  7. Add baby carrots.

  8. Core and slice apples; place throughout crock pot.

  9. Sprinkle again with garlic salt, salt and pepper; add rosemary.

  10. Cook on hight for 6 to 8 hours or until roast is falling apart.
