Basil-Lemon Pasta

A summer favorite using fresh garden basil. Also is great with tomatoes added.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb noodles
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 T julienned lemon zest (optional)
  • 3 Tbs fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup torn fresh mint or basil leaves
  • Crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Cook noodles

  2. Toss noodles with zest, juice and mint or basil. Top with cheese and pepper flakes.
