Macaroni and Cheese

Serves 12 people
Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 cups panko
- 1/4 lb or 1.5 cup chedder
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- Cheese Sauce:
- 1 stick butter
- 6 tbsp. flour
- 5 cups whole milk
- 6 cups chedder or 1 lb. chedder
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- 2 lb. elbow macaroni
Directions

eheat oven to 400.

Melt 1/2 stick butter.

Stir in panko, cheeses.

Set aside.

Cook pasta, reserving 1 cup liquid.

Melt rest of butter.

Stir in flour 1 tbsp. at a time until combined to make a roux.

Cook roux 3 minutes, then slowly stir in milk.

Stir in cheeses, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper.

Stir macaroni, water and cheese sauce.

Transfer to to pans.

Sprinkle on topping.

Bake 20-25 minutes.
