Slow-cooker curry chicken

Serves 6 people
Ingredients
- 1 T butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 (14 oz) can coconut milk
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 3 T curry powder, or to taste
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 t ground cayenne pepper
- 3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts halves, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup green peas
Directions

Set slow-cooker to High

Stir together soups, coconut milk, dry soup mix, curry powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper until combined.

Place chicken and onion in the slow cooker. Pour mixture over the chicken.

Add peas.

Cook on high for 1 1/2 hours, then on low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
