Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 tbsp .milk
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 cups flour
- pinch of salt
- Icing:
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp. milk
Directions

Cream butter and sugar.

Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

Roll batter to 1/2 inch thick.(It’s easier to roll between sheets of waxed paper)

Cut with cookie cutter and place on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 10-15 mins.

Do not let them get brown, the secret of these cookies is their whiteness.

When cool spread with raspberry jam and put together. Ice and decorate with cherries.
