Ingredients
- 1/2 c whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c finely chopped pecans
- 1.5 t ground black pepper
- 6 lg green tomatoes, in 1/2 " thick slices
- 2 T canola oil
- 1 T chopped fresh basil or 1/4 t dried basil
Directions

Combine flour, pecans, and pepper and coat tomatoes.

Saute tomatoes in oil in batches.

Brown each side.

Pour pan drippings and basil over the tomatoes once done.
