Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 3 eggs
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 Tbsp vanilla
• 1 Tbsp lemon extract
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 6 cups flour

Directions

1. Cream shortening, eggs, sugar and milk together

2. Add vanilla and lemon extracts, mix well

3. Add dry ingredients

4. Dough should be soft but not sticky

5. Chill overnight

6. Roll, sprinkle with sugar and cut

7. Bake at 400° until dull on top

8. DO NOT OVER BAKE
