Almond Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup margerine
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup margerine
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- powdered sugar frosting
Directions

Mix flour, 1/2 cup margerine and 2 tablespoons water like pie crust.

Shape into 9×12 rectangle on a cookie sheet.

Boil 1 cup water, 1/2 cup margerine, and extract.

After boiling add flour until well mixed.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing quickly and thoroughly between each egg.

Spread over pastry layer.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Frost immediately.

Quickly add chopped walnuts if desired.
