Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 gran. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 3c. flour
- 1 t. baking powder
- scant* 1 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. fresh ground nutmeg
- pinch or so of salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 t. vanilla
Directions

Heat oven to 350*

Mix flour,soda,powder,nutmeg and salt in small bowl.

Cream sugar and butter in mixer bowl. Add 2 eggs and beat until fluffy.

Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to the creamed butter/sugar mixture. Mix only to combine. blend in vanilla.

Dip cookies on to parchment lined tray. Bake cookies 6 minutes, turn 180* and bake 6 min longer. (edges very slightly brown)

ICED: 2c. 10x sugar

1 stick soft butter (1/2c.)

Add just enough milk to spreading consistency.
