Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • flour
  • 2 pkg dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water with yeast

Directions

  1. Cream

  2. Shortening salt & sugar to smooth paste

  3. Add the eggs a little at a time

  4. Mix well

  5. Add milk, water & dissolved yeast

  6. Mix thoroughly, Add vanilla

  7. Add flour enough to make stiff elastic dough

  8. Let dough rise about double

  9. Divide dough into sections, roll out 1/4 thick

  10. Spread with brown sugar and cinnamon

  11. Bake at 325 Deg for 20-25 minutes

  12. After rolls cool add icing
