Monkey Bread

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 3 cans refrigerator biscuits, quartered
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a bundt pan liberally.

  2. Mix together sugar and cinnamon and put in a ziploc bag.

  3. Coat quartered biscuits in sugar cinnamon mix, then drop into bundt pan. Do not press or pack into pan.

  4. In a small sauce pan, combine butter, brown sugar and left over cinnamon sugar. Bring to a boil. Boil for one minute then pour evenly over biscuits.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes. Let them cool for 5 minutes in pan, then turn out onto a platter.

  6. Serve hot.
