Chocolate-Hazelnut Thumbprints

Serves 24 people
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup Nutella
Directions

eheat oven to 350.

Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Beat butter with an electric mixer on med speed for 30 seconds.

Add brown sugar and beat until combined.

Beat in egg yolk, vanilla, and salt.

Beat in flour on low speed until dough comes together.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Shape the dough into 24 1 1/4 in balls.

Arrange 2 in apart on cookie sheets.

Use your thumb to make indents in each ball.

Fill each with 1/2 tsp Nutella.

Bake 10 min, or until edges are lightly browned.
