O’Charley’s Caramel Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tub cool whip
  • Pecans and chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

  1. Peel the labels off of the condensed milk

  2. Place cans on their sides and cover completely with cold water.

  3. Slowly bring to rolling boil.

  4. Boil for 3 hours turning every 30 minutes.

  5. Let cool for at least 1 hour

  6. Open and spread caramel into crust. Top with pecans and chocolate chips.

  7. Refrigerate 8 hours
