Chocolate Ice Box Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1st Ingredients
  • 3 eggs separated
  • 3 tbsp Fry's cocoa
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 oz water
  • 2nd Ingredients
  • 1/4 lb sugar
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1 angel food / sponge cake
  • 2 cans thick Danish cream
  • Maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Combine egg yolks,cocoa, sugar and water and bring to boil on stove until a thick paste forms

  2. Remove from stove and add vanilla-cool

  3. cream 2nd ingredients

  4. Add to cooled chocolate mixture

  5. Beat egg whites stiff

  6. Add to mixture

  7. Add cans of cream to the mixture

  8. Cut cake into cubes

  9. Layer cake, sliced cherries and mousse

  10. Refrigerate and serve
