Green Tea Truffles

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c fat free half and half
  • 4 decaf green tea bags
  • 1/2 lb bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions

  1. heat the half and half in a saucepan. When it simmers, add tea bags. Allow to steep 5 minutes.

  2. Gently squeeze tea bags and discard.

  3. Return mixture to simmer and pour over chocolate in a medium bowl.

  4. Stir to combine.

  5. Place bowl in freezer about 10 min, removing and stirring every 2 min.

  6. Roll into truffles and coat with cocoa powder.
