Chinese Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 1 pkg ramen noodles (chicken teriyaki)
  • 2 C chicken strips (cooked)
  • 1 sm pkg slivered almonds
  • 1 sm pkg sunflower seeds
  • 3 T oil
  • 1 T red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Boil water.

  2. Cook ramen noodles for 1 minute.

  3. Drain & rinse with cold water.

  4. Thinly slice cabbage & put in bowl.

  5. Combine oil, vinegar, seasoning packet (from ramen noodles), salt & pepper.

  6. Pour over cabbage & stir.

  7. Cut chicken into smaller pieces.

  8. Add chicken, ramen noodles, almonds & sunflower seeds & stir.
