French Onion Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 large, white sweet onions, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 3 tbl. butter
- 1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. lite soy sauce
- 8 slices french bread, 1/4 thick sliced and buttered
Directions

Saute onion in butter until tender; spoon into a 7×11 inch glass baking dish.

Spread cheese over onions.

Heat soup, milk, and soy sauce together until well blended; pour over onions and cheese. Mix gently with a fork.

Place buttered bread slices on top, overlapping if necessary.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
