Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped drained fresh or quick frozen oysters
- 1/2 cup oyster liquor, chilled
- 8 to 10 small pork sausages

t the oven to 450. Rub a small shallow pan with margarine or shortening. Sift the flour, measure, sift again with the baking powder and salt. Work the butter or margarine into the flour, then mix all with the oysters and oyster liquor. Spread in the baking pan; arrange the sausages on top. Pierce them with a fork. Bake 20 minutes. Lower the heat to 350 and bake 10 to 15 minutes more.
