Shrimp Bisque

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb cooked shrimp
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tabpespoons chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprike
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Chop shrimp. Heat butter in large frying pan, add onion and celery and cook until onion is golden, stirring occasionally. Remove onion

  2. Mix flour with water; add to onionmixture; stirring constantly. Add milk and seasonings to above mixture. Cook on low heat until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp; heat to serving temperature
