Delicious Custard

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 c corn starch
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 c milk
  • 2 egg yolks slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Melt butter.

  2. Blend in corn starch, sugar, & salt.

  3. Gradually add milk.

  4. Heat to boiling over direct heat.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. Stir in the slightly beaten eggs.

  7. Return to heat stirring constantly.

  8. Add vanilla & cool thoroughly.
