Chocolate Toffee Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lb bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
- 1/4 c (1/2 a stick) unsalted butter
- 1 3/4 c (packed) brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 5 (1.4 oz) chocolate-covered English toffee bars ( coarsely chopped)
Directions

Combine flour, baking powder, & salt in a small bowl.

Whisk to blend.

Melt chocolate & butter together until smooth.

Cool mixture to room temp.

Using electric mixer, beat sugar & eggs in a bowl until thick.

Beat in chocolate mixture & vanilla.

Stir in flour mixture, toffee, & nuts.

Chill batter until firm.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Line 2 large baking sheets with waxed paper.

Drop batter by spoonfuls onto sheets 2 inches apart.

Bake.
