Mum’s Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 50 g butter
- 1 T golden syrup
- 1 C milk
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 C wholemeal flour
- 1 1/4 C bran flakes
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 C sultanas
Directions

Melt butter and golden syrup.

Dissolve baking soda in milk, add the egg.

Mix dry ingredients and sultanas.

Add liquid mixes to dry mix, stirring until just combined.

Spoon into well greased muffin tins and bake at 180oC approx 15 minutes until springy to touch.
