Coconut Kisses

Can be served singly or joined in pairs with butter icing

Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves 18 people

Ingredients

  • 115 g butter
  • 2 T hot water
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 3/4 C coconut

Directions

  1. Melt butter and hot water.

  2. Add remaining ingredients; stand few minutes for mixture to firm.

  3. Bake in teaspoon lots on baking paper at 170oC approx 15 minutes, until firm and lightly coloured.

  4. (I use a small icecream scoop, three quarter filled, for uniform sized biscuits.)
