Salmon Quiche

Cook time: 45 minutes
Serves 6 people
Ingredients
- 1 9-inch frozen pastry shell, thawed
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- pinch ground nutmeg
- pinch black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Swiss or Cheddar
- 1/2 cup canned boneless, skinless salmon
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
Directions

eheat oven to 400.

Prick bottom of pastry shell with a fork; partially bake in pre-heated oven for 8 minutes.

move from oven; reduce heat to 350.

In a small bowl, beat eggs.

Stir in milk, salt, nutmeg and pepper.

Spread cheese, salmon and green onions in pastry shell; pour egg mixture over top.

Bake for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.

Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into slices.
