Ingredients
- 250g dried pears
- 300ml apple/pear juice
- 4 tsp cardamom pods
- 225g treacle
- 225g golden syrup
- 115g marg
- 350g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 115g light brown sugar
- 350g oatmeal
Directions

Grease 20cm square cake tin.

Simmer pears in juice.

Grind cardamom seeds

Mix.

Bake at 160C 1 1/4 hours
