Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup marg
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup ice water
- 2 1/2 lbs apple
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp marg
- 1tsp + 1tbsp cornstarch
Directions

Blend pastry. Roll into 2 rounds for 9" tin

Combine apples, sugar and spices

Macerate for 2 hours, then drain.

Coat apples in cornstarch.

Add juices

Bake 220C on lowest shelf 45-55 mins
