Tuna Pan Bagnat

Ingredients

  • Ciabatta loaf, split
  • Canned tuna
  • 1/4 c sliced pitted olives
  • (8 anchovies)
  • 1 Tb drained capers
  • 1/2 sm red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 lg tomato, thinly sliced
  • white vine vinegar
  • 7 basil leaves

Directions

  1. Drizzle bread w/oil, season w/salt & pepper.

  2. Spread tuna over loaf.

  3. Scatter olives, anchovies, capers.

  4. Top w/onion, bell pepper.

  5. Drizzle with oil, vinegar to taste.

  6. Basil.

  7. Close loaf. Wrap in plastic wrap.

  8. Cover w/dish towel.

  9. Weigh down with something heavy (books) 2-4hrs, flipping over once.
