Pizza Crust

makes 1 14-16" pizza crust

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbs EVOO
- 2-2 1/2 c bread flour
- 1 tsp salt
Directions

Place water, sugar, and yeast in large bowl; let stand until foamy. Add olive oil and 1 cup flour, stir to combine, Add salt, stir. Slowly stir in flour until a soft dough forms.

On a lightly floured surface, knead dough 6-8 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl; cover with plastic wrap and a clean towel. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down dough, place on a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 14-16" round (or divide into 2 and make 2-10" pizzas). Sprinkle cornmeal onto a pizza peel, and top as desired.

bake 10-12 minutes until bottom of crust is brown, and cheese is melted and brown.
