Pasghetti & Tomato Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti Squash
  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
  • 4 carrots
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 1 bulb of garlic
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • ghee
  • garlic powder, onion powder
  • paprika, thyme, salt, pepper
  • balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Spaghetti Squash Noodles:

  2. cut in half

  3. scoop seeds out

  4. coat with olive oil

  5. sprinkle with garlic pow, salt + pepper

  6. place face down on baking sheet

  7. bake 40-45 minutes at 375 degrees

  8. let cool

  9. scrape with fork for spaghetti “noodles”

  10. .Tomato Meat Sauce Ingredients:

  11. .saute the garlic, onions and carrots in ghee until they are cooked and slightly caramelized

  12. .add the ground beef

  13. .sprinkle with all the spices mentioned above along with the balsamic

  14. .mix until ground beef is cooked through

  15. .mix carrots, onions and garlic into the ground beef

  16. .add tomato paste

  17. .mix water into pan to create the tomato sauce (you may also use homemade bone broth)

  18. .if you have tomatoes, you can mix those in as well

  19. .add enough water to make the meat sauce as liquidy as you want
