Deluxe Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (room temp)
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese (room temp)
  • 3/4 cup butter (room temp)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Beat first 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.

  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating at low speed until light and fluffy.

  3. Stir in vanilla.

  4. Frost with Deluxe Cream Cheese Frosting between layers and on top of sides of cake.

  5. Chill cake several hours before slicing.
