BEST BAKED LEMON CHICKEN EVER

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken in serving pieces
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup oil to sauté
  • 1 22oz can lemon pie filling
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Place flour and seasoning in bag, add chicken and shake bag to coat chicken pieces.

  3. Heat oil in heavy duty skillet and brown chicken n bot sides.

  4. Arrange chicken in oblong baking dish/pan

  5. Combine pie filling, water, soy sauce and vinegar and pour over chicken.

  6. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour r until chicken is tender.

  7. Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley.

  8. Serve over hot rice.
