Braised Shallots

Ingredients
- 600 - 700g shallots
- 2c stock
- 50g butter
- 1 stalk rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- 1T balsamic vinegar
- 1T soft dark sugar firmly packed

Preheat oven to 180C

Peel shallots – soak in boiling water for 5 min to make it easier

Place all ingredients into a casserole dish and cover

Bake 35 min

Bake another 15 – 20 min uncovered
