Fresh Pear Pie

Ingredients
- 9 inch double crust pie (recipe or box)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbs. Flour
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Lemon Zest
- 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice
- 5 c. peeled and sliced pears
- 1 Tbs. Butter
- Ice Cream
Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Combine sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and lemon zest in bowl.

Arrage pears in layers in a 9 in pastry lined pan, sprinkle sugar over each layer. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Roll out remaining dough; cut slitls to let steam escape.

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake for 35-40 min.

Serve with ice cream.
