Oriental chicken salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage (2--10oz pre-shredded cabbage)
  • 2 cups or more of shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 pkgs chicken flavored ramen soup mix
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 bunch green onions/ tops and all
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 chicken flavoring packets from soup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Dressing

  2. Stir all ingredients until blended and dissolved

  3. Store in covered container in fridge

  4. Salad

  5. Put noodles from soup in a ziplock bag.

  6. Pound until all broken up

  7. Brown noodles and almonds in butter

  8. Mix cabbage,chicken, browned noodles, almonds and green onions.

  9. Add as much dressing as desired

  10. Keep covered in fridge
