Gravy for Chicken and Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 3 Tablespoons grease
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  1. If you are frying chicken, then after the chicken is done, remove it and leave the grease in the pan.

  2. Guess at how much grease you have and add an equal amount of flour.

  3. Mix & cook the flour and grease and the “burnt” chicken for about 1 minute.

  4. Add the milk slowly while stirring (preferably with a wisk, but a fork will do).

  5. The more you cook it the thicker it will get.

  6. Three minutes is plenty of time to cook, then turn the burner really low and stir occasionally (and add more milk if it gets too thick).
