Ingredients
- 1 or 2 bags of dry lentils
- 1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
- 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
- 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic (chopped)
- 1 potato (peeled)
- 1 14 oz jar of tomato sauce
- Pasta (approx. 1/2 box)
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil
Directions

Rinse lentils in colander

Add lentils to large pot of water (1/3 lentils, 2/3 water) and bring to a boil

Skim off foam

Add all other ingredients

Cook for 30 minutes

Add 4 tbsp oil

Cook for another 15 minutes

Add pasta
-
Cook for another 15 minutes

Remove potato, chop it up, and put it back in the soup
