Bread Sticks

Simple way to serve bread in a different way

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Directions

Heat over to 450 degrees. Melt butter in oblong pan. Remove from oven as soon as butter is meilter. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a bowl. Add milk, stir slowly until dough begins to cling together. Turn onto well floured board. Kneed lightly about 10 tomes.. Roll out to 1/2 " thick rectangle. Cut dough in half lengthwise, then crosswise into 8 strips with a floured knife. dip each strip on both sides 8in butter and lay close together in rows in the pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Makes about 16
