Ingredients
- 1-1/2 - 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 Tbsp chili powder (I use barely any so the kids don’t complain it’s too spicy LOL)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 2 tsp sugar (or splenda!)
- cumin - a few dashes
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 large onion coarsely chopped
- 1 28 oz can chopped tomatoes with liquid
- 2 16 oz cans red kidney beans with liquid
- shredded cheddar cheese

saute meat in its own juices until brown

add other ingredients (except cheese) in order above. simmer min. 30 mins and up 1 hour.

(She says to serve over noodles or rice – I skip that part because of the carbs and serve it with a small bit of sour cream and with the cheddar cheese on top.
