Fried Apple Pies

The great thing about this dessert is that it’s easy to make and very versatile. Double or triple the recipe to serve as a sweet ending to a sumptuous dinner when camping with friends, or make several kinds of pies by simply changing the pie filling you use.

Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 1 can biscuit dough
- Ready-to-use apple pie filling
- Oil
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
Directions

Heat the oil in a skillet.

Roll out two pieces of biscuit dough until it’s about half an inch thick.

Spoon the apple pie filling in the center of one of the biscuits.

Cover this with the second piece of biscuit.

Using a fork, press the sides of the biscuits to seal it off and prevent the filling from leaking out while cooking.

Place the pie onto the skillet and fry until it is brown underneath.

Flip the pie carefully to brown the other side.

Remove the pie from the pan and place onto a plate.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Serve.
