Hummus

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons tahini
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4+ tablespoons water
  • Optional additions: scallions, roasted red peppers, chili peppers, chipotles, parsley, cumin, extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Start food processor, and drop in garlic.

  2. Add beans, lemon juice, tahini, salt, and run food processor. Slowly add water until desired consistency

  3. Top with paprika and oil for presentation
