Dilly Beans

Ingredients

  • green beans, fresh
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 head dill, or equivalent of dill weed
  • 2 cups cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup pure salt, not iodized

Directions

  1. Wash and stem green beans.

  2. Pack them in hot, sterilized pint canning jars.

  3. To each jar, add cayenne, garlic & dill in measurements listed above.

  4. Heat vinegar, water and pure salt to boiling.

  5. Pour boiling liquid in jars and seal.
