Dr. Pepper Beef Dip

Ingredients
- 2 small jars dried beef, rinsed and finely chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups finely shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Dr. Pepper
- 3 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper
- Chopped pecans for garnish, optional

In medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, except pecans. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Garnish with pecans, if desired. Serve with assorted crackers.
