Measure 25gm(2tbsp) of Brown and Polson custard powder.

Add ΒΌ cup milk from 500ml milk(1std milk bottle) to make a smooth paste.

Boil the remaining milk with 3 heaped tbsp(50gm) sugar.

Remove from heat and add the paste, cook again for 2-3min stirring continuously to avoid burning.Let it cool and custard is ready.

Moulded Pudding: To above procedure add 1tsp butter(after removing mixture from heat).Pour into mould.

Phirni/Kheer: To the custard procedure,not moulded pudding procedure,at the final cooking stage,add cream or malai for best results.Garnish with cherries and nuts etc. or mix with fruit salad.
